Math Monday: The other day we played a game which was intentionally unfair. Each student gets a number 1-20. Everyone works on a problem. I roll 2 dice & multiply faces. If the product is your #, congrats! you get to answer and perhaps win a surprise. But whah-whah if your number is a 7 or higher prime. You had no chance at all. We developed into a convo about the meaning of justice, fairness, and who gets a chance in life. Poco a poco, kids thinking’ a little deeper.
